String Society 2014 is gearing up to be an amazing week of music at Dwight-Englewood. Please join us in the Grand Finale Concert which will take place in Hajjar Auditorium on Friday, August 8th at 3:00. The concert will feature the talented and accomplished string players in a string orchestra and also in chamber groups.
I am thrilled to announce that Elly Suh will be stopping by during String Society to treat the students to a solo violin performance and give a masterclass. I met Elly when we both played in a concert with Metropolis Ensemble at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) a few years ago backing up Questlove. We have since played together a few times with the East Coast Chamber Orchestra.
Join us in Hajjar Auditorium on Wednesday, August 6th at 1:45 for Elly's performance and masterclass.
